Issue description:

Using the Network Transmitter and Receiver at a long distance (tested at 500 blocks or so) causes a huge frame rate drop

What happens:

Frame rate tanks.
Before network card placed

After

What you expected to happen:

No frame rate drop, if not very minuscule.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Place a Transmitter attached to your network
2. Place a Receiver far away and link to network card
3. Place card in Transmitter

Version (Make sure you are on the latest version before reporting):

• Minecraft: 1.10.2
• Forge: 12.18.1.2092
• Refined Storage: 1.1

Does this issue occur on a server? Unsure

Gimme a crashlog then

Also getting a lot of lag from most of the new textures

I highly doubt that

If you can't even get a log for me, I can't do much.

If you break the disk drive, does it fix the lag?

@BillboardEric Do you have something that is causing block updates next to the controller?
