Crafting Grid fails to pull Items for additional crafts from external storage when SHIFT-Clicking

Describe the bug

When attempting to craft full stacks of stuff by shift-clicking the result in the crafting grid, while ingredients are pulled from external storage, it only completes a single craft and leaves the crafting slots empty. This seems to happen regardless of the inventory being used, such as a chest or drawer. I was unable to reproduce this on fabric, but it seemed inconsistent with my reproduction attempts in forge so ymmv.
At the time of the crafting attempt, some warning messages were logged, which can be found below.

How can we reproduce this bug or crash?

  1. Boot up a fresh neoforge instance with RS2
  2. Create a creative world, place a creative controller connected to a crafting grid and an external storage into a chest
  3. Load 9+ stacks of coal into the chest, then attempt to craft a full stack of coal blocks by shift clicking the result in the crafting grid
  4. This leads to only a single item being crafted and the grid being left empty. A regular click correctly refills the grid slots.
