First, are the red, blue and green bars just ratios? If a recipe calls for 255 points of all three colors, does that mean I need equal parts red, blue and green?

Second, what do the numbers for max strength and min strength mean? That number seems to be useless without knowing the strength of a laser. Most of the recipes call for 16-64 signal strength.
