Cannot get water bottle from sink/basin/bathtub in 1.21.5

Describe the bug
I'm able to fill the kitchen sink with water and fill a bucket with it, but when I right click a filled sink with a glass bottle, the interaction animation plays, but no water bottle is returned.
To Reproduce
- Place kitchen sink/basin/bathtub
- Fill sink/basin/bathtub with water
- Right-click with a glass bottle in main hand
Expected behavior
Upon interacting with the filled sink, the glass bottle should be exchanged for a water bottle in the player's inventory.
