The customiser button in the traits section is not accessible...

P.S is there a feature (if not can u add) where you regen and don't get traits?

commented

The customiser isn't supposed to be accessible, we currently don't offer customization options.

I'm working on a configuration option

commented

Are you gonna add fake regens like in DW??

commented

I guess we could do that, what would be the point though?

commented

oh ok

There is a customization for the regen color now, and there's a config option for disabling traits.
The last one may be broken which I've already fixed in my repo, not sure if @nictogen has merged that part yet.

commented

ok thx is there a link?? or is it released to the public now?

There are still a couple of bugs that have to be killed / features that have to be added for a new release, but I can create an intermediate build for you based on my fork now. It's more stable than the latest 1.2 version so I'd use that if I were you.

Please note that this "intermediate version" still has a bug that causes crashes everytime you regenerate after you've disabled traits, loaded the world, and then enable them again. This is permanent so don't disable and then enable traits again as your world will effectively been broken.

commented

ok, ill take it

commented

Without changes to the configuration file traits are enabled by default.
If you disable traits and load your world all traits will be removed and you won't get any.
When you enable traits again and load such a world, the traits become "stuck" causing a crash upon every regeneration.

So:

  • If you disable traits, don't enable them again
  • As this is a 'beta' build you should really backup your world

ok, it's good i'll take it

what luc-core version do i need?

commented

Ow that's a good one I used one that hasn't been released yet (it includes 2 fixes).
Will create an intermediate build for that too gimme a minute.

commented

ok umm , how do i disable the traits??

commented

Please make sure you use the snapshot version of lucraft core provided here or you'll get crashes.

To disable traits you need to go into your .minecraft folder (look up how to get there if you don't know, google's your best friend), go to the folder called 'config' and modify lcm-regen.cfg. You need to start the mod at least once to generate this file.

ok thanks!

Also, please report any bugs/issues you find that are not already in the Queued, On hold or Stale columns here. Especially if you encounter something that is in the Done or Merged section.
