When the mod BetterPortals is installed, the game will lag and ultimately crash when regenerating. Can anything be done about this, or is it unfixable?

Install Regeneration and BetterPortals through the Twitch Launcher, load a world or join a server, and take damage until a regeneration starts.

I expected it to complete the regeneration without crashing.

I am running version 2.0.5 of Regeneration and version 0.3.7.3 of BetterPortals.

Try turning off Regenerations shaders in Regenerations config file
