Crash due to a player render/crash when opening inventory

This bug occur when me and another player look in the direction of the "bugged" player. The game crashes (report joined). Also, the "bugged" player crashes when opening their inventory (report joined).

This a player with no regenerations?

They tried with and without regenerations, the bug still occured until they changed their mod files (regeneration mod) with someone else's files.

So this issue is resolved? What files were exchanged?

The regeneration files from .minecraft and mods file. And yes this resolved the issue.

It's fixed next update, it's just taking a while because I'm occupied with some things

So.... Does this mean, that I have to wait for the next update??? And i have 1.16.4 version of minecraft.

Can you describe this process in more detail? I have the same problem and i can't solve it. I have tried many different ways, but none helped.
