Suggestion name: invincibility upon death and start of regeneration
What does the suggestion entail: that upon death and start of regen you are invinible to dying
Does it change anything currently existing in the mod?: nothing
Why should we add your suggestion: for players like me that have a few extra mob mods like grimore of gaia, and matter overdrive in the mod pack, it would help so the player can see and have the regneration experience, since at the present time on our server we get hit too quickly so we can not hit the regenerate button and die getting the respawn menu and lose all our regens.

@darktrek I agree that you die way too easy in the current release version of the mod. I have already tweaked this behavior in the beta, could you test if that works better for you?
You can always change the knockback & kill config options to make it harder for mobs to reach you while you're regenerating.

@darktrek Please use proper punctuation. I can't decipher what you're trying to say this way.
Based on what I do understand:

  • Can you tell me which mobs exactly don't get killed/knocked back?
  • Ranged mobs can still hit you, there's nothing preventing that. They just get knocked back so it's more likely that you'll be out of range (or killed...). I might add a config option some day to include more immunities along fire damage.
  • The loseRegensOnDeath option isn't implemented yet (#50), apparently I didn't mention that in the beta-notes. I added it now.

that is much better thank you it does give you a chance to use the regeneration powers but it seems mobs from grimoire of gaia do not get killed or knocked back when regeneration happens, i had a sludge girl hitting me through the whole regeneration and finally killing me after it was all over. and i have lose regenerations if your killed to false and we still lose all our regens.

as of testing it seems most of the grimoire of gaia 3 mobs do not get knocked back nor do they die in the regeration eneergy like most vanilla mobs do,

mobs that dont die, they are all melee mobs
the sludge girl
Anubis
Mandragora
Harpy
Goblin

ranged mobs are fine im not worried about them.

What does the suggestion entail: The default colors changing to ones set within the config

Why should we add your suggestion: Would be helpful for people who prefer to use their own colors

i have a request i want a config option to weather you choose your appearance and traits it dosn't have to be a default feature i just want a config option for it.

@TheGallifreyanKnight Please use proper punctuation, it's really annoying to read your comments like this.
With the upcoming skin-changing rewrite there will be an option to have a set order for skins.
As far as I know @Suffril is against choosing your traits, but I can maybe add a cheat-command to give some more flexibility.
