[SUGGESTION] Rege. Energy + Grace Period change

Hi

Here are two other suggestions I had in mind:

  1. The Fob watch can be crafted but empty while a full can only be found in dungeons. If we go on how the Master hid as Yana at the End of the Universe. From Yana's perspective, he was born without knowing his family except for an old watch as his only possession. We know the Master built Yana's past and he has probably only existed for maybe 30 years before the Doctor found him. So a simple solution to the Fob Watch was to give the player a Fob Watch with a random amount of Regenerations in it. I'm not super keen on that, so a solution to that would be to have only a certain percents chance to have the player spawn with a watch or not.
Minecraft is not Doctor Who, so I think people would go paranoid about wasting precious regenerations if one were to die. So I feel to my better judgment to have a way to refill the Fob Watch would make everyone happy.

##SPOILER FOR S6E6 AND THEREAFTER##

River Song was able to regenerate because she was, umm, "conceived" in the Tardis. Which made her the first Human with Timelord DNA (not a hybrid, simply what we see as TL DNA with a human base. TLs gained the ability to regenerate because of their meddling with the time vortex for generations, their ancestors probably were aliens with a lifespan of over 600 years with a cooler than human core temperature and two hearts). We can call her a Proto-Timelord as they weren't even sure if she could regenerate (well, she did). But as far as we know she only regenerated two times before she wasted all her remaining regenerations on the Doctor to save his life (all her remaining and still didn't change his face).
My point is the Timelords have had literally all of time to perfect it while Amy and Rory got freaky after their wedding. So recharging it would still take some time even to make one regeneration.
So maybe a machine of some kind that punctures time and space for a few seconds and at that moment expose an empty Fob Watch to it to refill it slightly. Instead of the watch having 12 damage values have it at 120 and have regenerations use up 10 of them. Exposing it to "time radiation?" would maybe fill it up 1 point.

Disclaimer
I don't know what else you guys have planned for the mod except for being able to die multiple times and store lives in watches. I just like to speculate and think of ideas.

  1. This is a short one: I find it a little annoying hearing people sing into my ears all the time while in Grace Period, so only a few seconds before and during when the hands glow should you be able to hear them. I like the echo effect and yellow-ish tint on the screen, but those gosh dang singers need to chill! ๐Ÿ˜›

@nictogen Whoops, maybe I didn't explain it correctly. What I meant was a way to refill it to get more regenerations beyond the 12 you get in a dungeon loot chest. I am well aware you can transfer lives over to the watch.

I really like the fact that you included a spoiler warning.

Overall I think there's some good stuff in here, but @Suffril will have to decide what's "in-scope" for this mod.

Talk to me over discord with it and we can discuss it :)

Hmm, should I let it automatically close next time it asks or is there a way for it to ignore certain issues, such as feature requests @HoldYourWaffle, @Swirtzly?
