after killing mobs it doesnt increase my level on my belt and is always stuck on 0/100

minecraft version is 1.20.1

To gain experience with the belt, you need the items equipped in the talisman/amulet slot to receive experience. It’s not just about killing mobs - each item has its own method.

How can i see which method you need to do in order to level up the belt?
