Recently crafted an Infernal Tear and wanted to test multiple items to see which one gives the most exp happened to have lots of obsidian so i used the Tear first with that no even after cheating one in or recrafting the only thing the infernal tear will eat is obsidian

you need to just right click in the air with the tear inactive to unset the item and try to set it to new one (will again choose the one that you have the most of in inventory).
