What problem is this feature intended to solve?

Being able to morph on public vanilla servers like Hypixel and more. Mob abilities can be disabled and everything could be made client-side.

It would be really nice if we could use the mod on servers like Hypixel. A config toggle or changing it to be default behavior would be great so we can morph from our end without our health being changed or being able to use mob abilities. Idk about the camera being changed based on mob size but mainly client-side morphing would do.

The woodwalkers-mod can't be used on servers like Hypixel because it's not a cosmetic mod. It alters your gameplay and identity while working on the server-side due to security reasons. Therefore, a simple client-side toggle wouldn't work because the mod's core function relies on server-side interactions, not just a visual change.
