Handheld items are invisble

This mod is exactly what I was looking for to play the game more comfortably, excellent work so far. The only issue I have is that items in my hands don't render anymore, is this intentional, and if not, going to be fixed?

I'd like to have an option to show my items at least.

That's all, thanks for the mod.

This was intentional because the alternative was to have a floating hand in the middle of the screen.

If you want to see a hand that's not floating, I recommend using real first person render.

If you do want to see a floating hand, I can add an option for it. Just ask (again).

I would be perfectly fine with floating hands.
Maybe they won't even float with "usual" high FoVs such as 110? Real First Person render has issues with TPing, which is one of the main reasons I don't use it, speking of which, I'll contact it's dev about that.

Sorry for being so rambly, I would definitely like to see an option for hands, even if they're floating. And thanks again for providing mods, especially such a fringe technical one. You people rock!

Edit: The real first person mod is abandoned by the original dev, it seems. So I'll be reliant on your addition of a hands option.

Ah, I see, items get cut off. There's no relatively easy way to just render hands and items in the default fasion on a layer above those projections, right? Given your end goal of playability, reaching a solution for that seems important.

I'd still prefer that solution as an opt-in over not having it at all and I'd probably use it.

I'll see if I can push a quick update (2-3 days).

I've been working on a rewrite of the back end code that promises to improve almost all aspects of the mod. The issue is that it will take months to complete if it's even possible.

This is what I've made so far.

Are there any changes you would like made before I release it?

I'm not coming up with ideas on how to improve this that would be in reach so that version's good IMO.
