Im using the ATM9 mod pack with a few extra mods. Trying to craft planks from 2 wood slabs ends up making wood logs. Unfortunately taking out your mod fixes the issue.

Repurposed structures literally has zero recipes. Zip nana none. It is physically impossible for my mod to break recipes lol

What you described sounds more like a mod load order issue or a race condition between two mods loading

Closing as this has absolutely nothing to do with my mod. In fact, I booted up ATM9 and it doesnt even have a recipe for 2 slabs according to the recipe viewer lol
