Piglins randomly attack possessed piglin even with gold armor

If you possess a piglin and go near another piglin, it will attack you, even if you are wearing gold armor. This doesn't make sense to me. because piglins don't attack players wearing gold armor in vanilla. This also applies to othen possessed mobs wearing gold armor
This only happens when /gamerule requiem:possessionDetection isn't set to DISABLED
Steps to reproduce
Step 1: Make sure /gamerule requiem:possessionDetection is set to NORMAL or HARD
Step 2: Find a bastion
Step 3: Use soul vessel on a piglin then possess it (kill yourself if you have to)
Step 4: Put on any piece of gold armor
Step 5: Get close to a piglin
Expected behavior: The piglin shouldn't attack you
Observed behavior: The piglin still attacks you and sometimes other piglins join in
To be exact, possessing a piglin would count as an attack, meaning if that "attack" is noticed, the other piglins will defend themselves just like against a normal attack, even if that attack, normal or not, has been carried out by a player wearing gold armor
Why is this a "won't fix"? I believe it should be fixed because it's an inconsistency with vanilla. Piglins respect you if you wear gold armor, so logically this should apply even if you're not a human
I discussed this one privately with a few others; it’s intended behavior due to the logic of it. Mobs can sense when there’s a demon in a body, which wouldn’t it then be seen as threatening to the piglins if your piglin friend was possessed by a demon that’s trying to wear gold armor and possessing your friend?
I did also remove the ‘won’t fix’ label soon after adding it. This issue is more of a feature request than an actual bug.
