As DWX asked on the discord it may be useful to create a way so that users can configure what blocks can be changed via the chorus transmutation trait.

This may be nice to do at some point though it may also be somewhat hard to implement given how it currently is done is from block states and some way to have them specify the proper name would need to make sure there are no block type errors.
