I had some ideas which I'll sum up:

• Dirt essence: Craft with mushrooms to make mycelium, spruce saplings to make podzol, or wheat seeds to make grass
• Glass essence: Add dye to get stained glass of proper color
• Nether essence: Add gold essence to get nether gold ore

Hmmmm, the dirt essence recipes aren't bad ideas actually, now I know that the only place where podzol spawns is underneath spruce trees so using spruce saplings makes sense but I'll probably end up making it use tags that will allow you to use any sapling. same thing goes for crafting grass but with any seed and not just wheat.

The glass seeds themselves were actually only meant as a funny gimmick, but nonetheless that's not a bad idea. I'll probably end up doing that

As for the nether seeds:
Why would you craft nether gold ore? the 1 gold essence spent is much useful when used to craft actual gold ingots.
I might implement this one day along with a similar recipe for the other vanilla ores, but for now you'll have to get yourself a silk touch pickaxe.

Overall these were some good suggestions, I'm already done modding for today but I'll look into adding these recipes shortly
