Bug Description

After a while bees will simply not enter the hives and fly around aimlessly, the only way to reset them is to catch into a bee jar and then release, they then return to their hives.

How to Reproduce?

have random bees, random hives.
let it sit in a server for a while, bees filling hives up, using shears to cut out honey combs.
after a while bees will fly around with particles from their butts and not enter hives

Expected Behavior

Bees to return to hives

ResourcefulBees-1.16.5-0.6.7.2b.jar

Mod Loader Version

I seem to have same kind of problem in Sky Farm, but my bees have never entered a hive at all. Sky Farm does have Sodium Reforged (sodium-forge-2.9.1+rev.63112e3.jar) is that the problem?

Looks like Sodium Reforged was my problem, removing it and then replacing the hives the bees now use them.

Also btw just as an FYI. Performant doesn’t actually improve performance and only creates an illusion of improved performance by stretching tick times. So for example 1 tick takes 10 ticks worth of time.

Sorry I’ve been crazy busy the past few days. I looked at the mod list for the pack and didn’t see sodium in it so it has to be a different mod interacting with ours. If you can do me a favor and reproduce the issue with ONLY our mod. ( I know it’ll work fine but just to be sure) assuming it works with only our mod installed then you’ll need to start removing mods from the pack until you can’t reproduce the issue. That will narrow down which mod is causing your issue.

I also noticed performant is in the pack. I assume that you have disabled their entity modifications yes?

Try breaking and replacing the hives. Check if you have sodium reforged installed or not. I’ve literally left dev worlds run for days/weeks at a time and never had this issue.

I have broken all hives and replaced them, the bees simply ignore the new hives and fly around aimlessly.

What is the significance of sodium reforged? This mod hasn't been installed on the pack no.

Some people are using an outdated version which is breaking entity pathfinding. Anyway what modpack are you playing? It has to be some kind of interaction with another mod Bc I know our bees aren’t broke
