I quickly tested this mod in a over 100 mod custom modpack. With this mod the deathpoints from BetterPvp (xaero's minimap) acted very strange. I killed myself probably 7 different times and it worked twice. Removing this mod instantly fixed the issue. I also have DrCyanosLootablebodies and nothing else that would effect dying.

could you please post your latest logs? (/logs/latest.log and /logs/fml-client-latest.log)? that way I'd see if there are any actual errors and it'd give me a full mod list plus the respective versions..

I removed all logs then retested the bug. If you die outside of render distance of your respawn point, death marks do not show up

I recorded the issue but can't upload it here and i'm not going to bother with Youtube. Without this mod its fine. I suggest testing this with Journeymap since so many people use that.
