pretty sure this is caused by the armor texture not being found. are you using a modded chestplate?

I mean yeah and no I guess. I'm using the default Minecraft netherite chestplate in "silence" trim with redstone as material. I was also using another mod called "All the trims", but I disabled it because I was trying to figure out what mod caused the OpenGL error spam in my log, somehow, removing and adding back all the mods got the profile to stop working completely, so I don't know if "All the trims" was the issue.

that could definitely be it, try using a vanilla trim material instead

Yeah it works with regular, would be nice to see mod support though if it is possible with anything armor related.
