Last night I had an idea and I think it would be pretty cool so I figured I would throw it out there and see what you guys think.

The idea is something along the lines of the storage tablet, but that offers a way to monitor the state of RFTools Wireless Transmitters (maybe interact with but that seems OP). The UI would have the Channel Number, a user-definable description, channel state (On/off, maybe signal strength if they support analog, not sure if they do), and a toggle that would let you set an alert when that channel turns on/turns off. The alert could be something as simple as the icon changing in your hotbar, or an audio tone.

This came from wanting a way to know if I got a dimlet parcel in my RS system. I was half asleep at the time, so the best I could come up with was putting the fireworks lens on a mana spreader or atomic reconstructor, then having an RS Detector turn on if there were parcels in the RS. Then I thought "What if I'm not at my base?" and then the rest of this came together.

I really like the idea of being able to turn on a redstone signal remotely, really nice for base entrances.

maybe a wireless transmitter or receiver could be crafted into a sort of "remote" that lets you toggle or monitor channels, respectively? Could be crafted the same way as a network monitor but with a transmitter or receiver in the middle, perhaps

This has actually been on my todo for a long time. Maybe I should finally do it :-)
