Machines are being destroyed - not harvested - on left click

I can't imagine this is intentional.
If a RFTools machine (Matter Transmitter, Matter Receiver, and Dialing Device are the ones I checked) are left-clicked with anything BUT a pick (such as an empty hand), they will be destroyed and poof, leaving nothing but a broken heart. If a pick is used, they drop themselves as an item, as expected.
Forge v10.13.1.1217
RFTools versions checked: 2.01, 2.10, 2.11
