So the Storage Terminals are a really useful to put down around your base to have access to your Storage Scanner remotely, and I really like that unlike how the Storage Tablet shares it's saved patterns with the Storage Scanner that each terminal can have it's own set of saved patterns. I noticed recently I placed one of the Storage Terminals onto a connector from Xnet and the connector connected to it and the Storage Terminal showed up in the Xnet controller. This led me to think that I could use a Storage Terminal similarly to a Storage Scanner and pipe items in/out of it, however I set up a small Xnet network to test this and it wasn't the case. I think it would be a nice feature to be able to use it this way similar to the Storage Scanner.
