My problem is as follows:
I have a working elevator setup. Just 2 floors, with screens with elevator buttons. Sometimes they work. Other times when I log out and log back in - the buttons just do nothing at all without touching any block in the world. The elevator has plenty of RF, so does the screen controller.
The only way I found to make them work again is to give a redstone signal to an elevator that doesn't have the platform - that crashes the game with the crash I posted in the previous issue. And when I log back in - they work again.

Any idea what might be causing such incredibly strange behaviour?

As in your other bug, please try to reproduce this bug with just McJtyLib and RFTools, no other mods.
