Redstone transmitter / receiver possibly not working in StoneBlock

Issue description:
I could not get the redstone transmitter / receiver to work in the modpack called StoneBlock version 1.0.16
In WAILA they both indicate that they are on channel -1. I put redstone on each side of the receiver as a test and rotated the transmitter with an incoming signal from a lever and redstone dust. It currently is not linked and transmitting the signal. I tried putting both items in a crafting table, right-clicking (and shift-right-clicking) on the transmitter with a receiver. I'm guessing that -1 may be an error of some sort for the channel?

Steps to reproduce:
I've tried what I wrote above but can never get a signal to transmit. Only both set to channel -1 (which might be fine) and not transmitting the signal.

Versions:

  • Minecraft: 1.12.2
  • Forge: 14.23.4.2760
  • CompatLayer (only if on Minecraft 1.10 or 1.11):
  • McJtyLib: 1.12-3.0.5
  • RFTools: 1.12-7.56

Possibly incompatible mods and versions:
n/a

Relevant logs, if any:

Thank you for the response. I've tried to sneek-right click with either item upon the other and it places the item on the block above instead. I've tried to reset all of the key controls in case this is a problem. Thanks again

I also looked for key conflicts with the sneak and removed one. Still doing the same. I had crafted 6 receivers originally as I was going to place them in 6 different spots to listen to the same transmitter channel (just in case this additional information gives any clues). THanks

Try just right-clicking without sneaking.

WORKED!!

Thanks!!

You guys are so fast, I was wondering if I'd get a response within a couple days. Awesome job!

You need to sneak right click the transmitter or receiver on the receiver on transmitter while it is on the ground to link them

TODO for myself: make the channel say "not linked" or something instead of -1 to prevent this confusion in the future.
