Screen does not update if (text) module inserted by RF Tools Control

Issue description: Push text module into screen with RF Tools Control. Text on screen does not update unless screen opened or screen controller rescans.

Steps to reproduce:
Insert text module using RF Tools, observe screen, no change. Open screen, updates. Or, re-scan with screen controller, updates. Adding updating modules (clock, counter) to screen does not force text module to update either.

Versions:

Minecraft: 1.12.2
Forge: 14.23.5.2815
CompatLayer (only if on Minecraft 1.10 or 1.11):
McJtyLib: 1.12-3.1.1
RFTools: 1.12-7.61

Possibly incompatible mods and versions: Using sponge and optifine.

Also, using a Energy display module and setting the text to Compact or Commas will revert back to Full the next time you open the screen.

(Same Versions as above)

I've seen this occur in many different packs that I've played, namely Sky Adventures, and it's a huge inconvenience to have to reset it every time I look at the screen to modify or change the modules installed inside the screen. Should be pretty easy to reproduce.

The inability to keep the compact format has also been reported on #1911, so if you fix that, you should close that as well.
