[Feature Request] Storage Scanner and AE2 Storage Bus intergration.

Reason for asking for the feature:
Currently, I have a mid-game AE2 setup. I frequently notice that my storage is getting filled up by items I only have a few of- (ranging from 1s to 10s). Usually, I put these items in a Modular Storage. However, I frequently end up noticing that I required one or two of the items while doing auto-crafting. (A example of this is EnderIO's capacitors requiring gold nuggets.. if I'm making loads of them, it usually sorts itself out, but if I only make 1 or 2, there is always nuggets left in the system).
Besides that, I also use YABBA's "Barrel Item Controller" and the 'Item Barrels' (Along with Infinite item limit upgrade) for storing things I have far, far too many of... For example, if you have Mystical Agriculture... so many essences.
Due to these being separate from AE2, I always end up having to fish the items needed out of the chests they're in.
Recently, I discovered the "Storage Scanner" and Xnet's "Controller". After researching them and playing around with them for a bit, I assumed all of my issues would be fixed- The scanner picked up all the 'Modular Storage' chests and the 'Barrel Item Controller'. I was able to take items out from that and then put them into the AE2 system as needed, shortening the process heavily.
A few days after this, I was skimming through the modpack's forum when I noticed a post stating that the AE2 Storage Bus was able to extract items directly from the 'Barrel Item Controller'. After trying that, I confirmed that it could indeed do so. I thought then, "so what if I connect the Storage Bus to the Storage Scanner? Couldn't I then access all of the items directly from the ME system without putting any of them in my drives?
Naturally, I tried it instantly.... just to be disappointed, as the ME system didn't register any of the items in any of the 'Modular Storage' chests, nor the 'Barrel Item Controller'
So, it's probably obvious, but:
Feature Request:
Interaction between the RFTool's 'Storage Scanner' and an Applied Energistics 2 'Storage Bus' allowing the Applied Energistics 2 'ME System' to access all of the items stored inside the 'Modular Storage' and 'Barrel Item Controller' with a single 'Storage Bus'.

Extra Note:
I did notice a similar request about AE2's "Interface" and the Storage Scanner. (#1689) While it's similar, it's also completely different- The storage bus is about using external storage, meanwhile the interface is about interacting with the blocks. From what I've seen, the interface requires 'Crafting Storage' to do anything helpful... I only want to use it as external storage.
Also, I wrote this at around 4:30am, so I apologize for any typos. I'm exhausted.

Not sure if you figured anything out, but I'm currently playing project ozone 3 and had a similar problem. Turns out you can just attach the ME storage bus to any YABBA barrel controller and it will work with your AE2 terminal. I have all my barrels hooked up now and can craft whatever I need.
This isn't what the request was made for. Most people already understand you can do this. The storage scanners has the advantage of adding ALL inventories connected or not in a radius around it, meaning barrels, drawers, random chests, even machine inventories, making it a great midgame connection to AE if it were possible.
