Issue description:
I am trying to build a mod pack that needs a modded mob to be farmed / spawned by rftools, but there is no recipe and it needs null RF to spawn (which doesn't work)
Steps to reproduce:
modded mob syringe placed in spawner, redstone signal applied, nothing happened, Config files searched fruitlessly
Versions:

• Minecraft: 1.12.2 (modded)
• Forge: 14.23.5.2859 (latest at time of posting)
• McJtyLib: 1.12-3.5.4
• RFTools: 1.12-7.73

I have Minetweaker RecipeMaker and CraftTweaker if that helps my situaaaaation
