Suggestion: Implement powercell small linkers for machines?

So the idea is to replace conduits to some extent with RFTools. The powercells are a great addition but the next step is having say every machine powered by the powercells.
To get this accomplished, I think the basics of keeping a side of a machine for the 'power' should remain so I think having a block that allows a short travel distance link to a powercell should be made.
Now you would probably say why not create another powercell then use that? Well in a resource limited world, a powercell is costly so when you look at conduits in any pack, they are cheap. Storage is expensive, conduits are cheap.
So I would suggest a CHEAP version of the powercell that does NOT increase storage, has a transfer cost, and limited range. This block should be limited to something like 1 chunk (so a powercell bringing in power is needed at the start) but could be linked to .... unlimited machines. It should be easily made, allow basic rf transfer (maybe higher tiers allow more transfer) but should be a way to ... replace conduit early game, and maybe end game if they tier up enough. I would like to exclusively use powercells after a basic IE cable setup however I would need a powercell per machine to eliminate conduit completely. I think this is a bit excessive and would like to see something to allow many machines to use the powergrid of RFtools. Im highly in favour of a 10% or so transfer cost but I feel you should still reserve a side for power on machines (so no invisible linking power giving).
Building cost I would imagine would be 8 powerlinks for the cost of energy binder (ender pearl infused with clay) and iron/gold. I imagine it would be similar in looks to the endergenic generator and just look like a ender power core or something.
