Any time I add Ribbits from spawn eggs, even when I set their home position with amethyst, when I restart the world, they vanish and have to be replaced.

put this in a repeat command block and enable it, it will solve the problem
/execute as @e[type=ribbits:ribbit] run data merge entity @s {PersistenceRequired: 1b}
