Issues on using the Rift profile (launcher)

When I try to load the profile that the Rift creates on the dropdown menu of the minecraft launcher, the play button becomes un-clickable and on the bottom right of the launcher it says "loading versions..." but it never leaves this state, any clue on how to fix that?
what environement is it (os : linux, windows..)
what is your version of your launcher ?
I have this trouble too.
My env is:
OS: Linux mint 19 CINNAMON 64bit
launcher: Minecraft Launcher 1.6.84-j
Java: "1.8.0_181"
