try putting your setting into a text file and attaching it to your question. Hard to answer this sort of question without seeing what you're doing.
all i did was simple block replace nothing else. i didnt make any custom loots or anything
the whole dung is spawned correctly just no loot.

an idea i had for this was if u can make a flag for us to use where we can use something like default loot = true/false
Have you tried inheriting the builtin settings?
"builtin:secrets", "builtin:theme", "builtin:generator", "builtin:size", "builtin:segments"
i use all those in this i just need the loots lol. i dont really need it that badly cuz it adds more challenge for my pack
I have the exact same issues, we've written tons of custom loot tables for this, and as long as I have OVERRIDDES: LOOTRULES the chests spawns blank...
If I void OVRRIDES and then do /roguelike dungeon here loot (name of my loot.json name) then I get my loot tables, however, they wont spawn naturally (i.e if i do /roguelike dungeon here)

u need to dl the hidden update here under releases not on curse, i wish the guy would just post the 1.5.8.2 update to curse alrdy

I got some custom loot using the settings.zip found in the releases but chests spawn blank
Setting "overrides" to empty will spawn the loot but with the mod's default too. Setting "exclusive": true will make spawn empty "purpur dungeons". I've tried everything right now. Setting namespace, not setting, setting exclusive, not setting it. Nothing.
Using the demo settings still spawn empty chests in the tower of quartz
