Incompatibility with mod "XP from Harvest"

Minecraft version & Mod Version:
Minecraft 1.12.2
Roots Classic 1.1.3
XP from Harvest 1.0.1
Single player or Server:
Confirmed to occur in both
Describe problem (what you were doing / what happened):
With Roots Classic 1.1.3 and XP from harvest, XP will no longer spawn from harvesting vanilla crops (wheat, carrot, potato, beetroot). XP will still spawn from other modded crops such as pam's crops, however. I can confirm that this bug did not exist with Roots Classic 1.1.1. This may be related to the fix for the bug where the verdant sprigs were not dropping from right-click crop harvesting which was implemented in 1.1.2 or 1.1.3
