What happened?

I have a very big modpack with a huge number of new items and blocks so I need REI to be able to see all the new items recipes, but when I have it installed, the game takes forever to load into a world, either in Single Player or Multiplayer. My system freezes with 100% CPU usage and most of the time the game crashes or I have to force-close it through task manager. This happens every time that I load into a world, or create a new one. It's pretty much unplayable with REI installed, unfortunately, but works normally without it.

What mod loaders are you seeing the problem on?

Failed to reproduce with your modpack zip, how much ram did you allocate to the modpack? Can you try again with the latest REI as well? I have optimised the loading process.
