Overview

This is a feature originally contributed by JEI Utilities, which unfortunately has not been updated past 1.12. There are also some potential improvements over the original implementation that I would like to suggest.

• Any time the recipes or usages of an entry are viewed, that entry is pushed to a 'history' region that is situated above the search bar and below the main panel of results:

• Alternative location options for the 'history' region:
  • Situated beneath the search bar, so that the search bar and main results region can remain adjacent.
  • Situated beneath the favourites region.
  • Situated above the favourites region.
• Additional search filter/prefix (is > in use?) that filters results to only entries that are present in the history.
• Customisable row count for the 'history' region.
• History region should be collapsible via an arrow button, akin to how combo boxes operate.
• Ability to disable this feature entirely (however I think it should be enabled by default - it's a very useful tool and many players may not know of its existence otherwise).
