wires transfer power to redstone but redstone doesn't transfer power to wires

wires behave strangely with comparators and possibly other redstone devices

I think thats intended

I remember responding to this... apparently not. The first one at least is intended, yes, to prevent infinite feedback loops (wires + redstone dust connected to each other in a loop staying turned on despite no power source being there).

The second one I believe isn't.
