[1.20.1] Unsafe cast to VertexBufferWriter

Hello,
Looks like there is an unsafe cast that is preventing custom BufferSources to be used. My usage is here: https://github.com/baileyholl/Ars-Nouveau/blob/f59312662e16a4f40e51fd9b1eb4edfb4660231f/src/main/java/com/hollingsworth/arsnouveau/client/gui/utils/RenderUtils.java#L37
