Disable Dynamic Lights for specific entities

Dynamic Lights seem to have some issues with certain custom entities, for example Thaumcraft's Crimson Clerics. As reported in my modpack multiple times (xJon/The-1.12.2-Pack#164, xJon/The-1.12.2-Pack#330) players have to disable Dyanmic Lights globally in order to play when they are involved with Crimson Clerics.
Is it possible to either optimize this case, or disable the Dynamic Lights for certain entities or mods' entities? Any other solution is also very appreciated.
