I think it would be cool if when you have a rope or chain attached to a ceiling, "pulling" (climbing) it would cause the block on top to emit a redstone signal, so you could trigger some other mechanism but pulling a chain. It could make for pretty cool setups, like lighting a room or opening a secret door. =3
