using the latest version of both rustic and dynamic trees.

Update to DynamicTrees-1.12.2-0.9.4

Your crash log shows an outdated version. Double check the mods folder and also check that you're running the correct profile in your launcher. If that doesn't help then erase DT jar and redownload.

i did all of that quite a few times yesterday, while trying to figure out what was causing the bug.
now i just don't get crash reports at all. (still crashes, tho)
