hello i hope this is a good spot to post this, but i tried making a datapack to make the cleaver of beheading compatible with better combat on 1.19.2 and it is not loading. I've pretty much given up on trying to make one but i was wondering if there are any plans with adding compatibility in the future?

I second this, I've also tried editing the configs and everything to make the Cleaver of Beheading work with Better Combat. I've had no issues with any other modded weapon other than this one.

I looked on the better combat discord and they have it in one of the channels that makes the cleaver compatible as well as a few other mods. I uploaded a zip here because github cant accept datapack files for some reason so just unzip and put the file in world datapack folder and if that doesnt work just look on the better combat discord.
