Mods such as Dye Depot or El and L's Dye Mod add new dyes to the game, and Scholar seems to detect them and generate valid book items. These books don't have any assets, and attempting to write in a Writable Book from these new dyes (e.g. Mint Writable Book) will crash the game instantly

This will not be an issue in the next update - all colored books added by Scholar will be removed and dyeing will be implemented like leather armor, on a vanilla book.
I'm currently busy with Exposure, so the update will take a while to finish.

In the meantime additional invalid books can be hidden using KubeJS or similar as a temporary solution.
