Failed loading in Single Player or Server Start [1.18.2]

My server keeps stopping on load after the update to Selene Lib. It doesn't generate a crash report but i do have the latest.log to provide. I also tested this in single player and sometimes it loads and sometimes it gives the "Error Loading Datapack" safemode screen.
Minecraft: 1.18.2
Selene: 1.15.3
Forge: 40.1.0

i think you could fix this datpack issue if you change your mcmeta to 9
it seems all others mods are on v9 now

I having the same issue here with latest version 1.15.5.
Downgrading to 1.15.4 for now.
There are actually 2 issues here.
First reported was fixed in 1.15.4 while second was supposedly fixed in 1.15.5. I'll have another look at it
On also does any of you have optifine installed?
Does the issue persist with all the mods updated? Can I have a new crash report?
The same thing happens on my server.
Mod version: selene-1.18.2-1.17.7.jar
Forge version - 40.1.41
