BEFORE CONTINUING:

  • Always check you are using the latest version of these mods and its dependencies
  • Remove known problematic rendering mods such as Optifine, Sodium and others

Version-Loader

1.20.1-FABRIC

Moonlight Lib Version

moonlight-1.20-2.14.6-fabric

Describe the Issue

When I try to stop the server on our old world which otherwise works perfectly fine the server crashes. When I do the same on a new world everything works.
If you want it and it helps than I could also upload the world folder. Although it is roughly 6,5GB so idk if that makes sense xD
If I can help in figuring this out please tell me!

Crashlog: https://mclo.gs/FjpJHlO

Background story:
We have played on this world for a long time and wanted to update all mods or rather I´ve been creating a huge update for ~1-2 years and now I thought it was ready so I tried to update the world from a backup and everything worked. I could join the server and everything was there but when I now try to stop the server it doesn´t want to stop properly :(

Log Attachment

latest.log

There is not crash report since it is a server :/

OPTIONAL: To Produce

  1. Start the server with an old world
  2. Stop the server
  3. See it crash

OPTIONAL: Which mods are affected?

Idk to be honest. 469 mods are kinda hard to debug 😅

I updated every mod that I could without making the minecraft client crash. But on the server the same crash still happens when I stop it... here is the log: https://mclo.gs/0drD6Ry

I tried to join a singleplayer world with the current configuration and saving works although there is a different error it doesn´t crash the game, here is the log: https://mclo.gs/vm5joPb

Ima try too figure out the cause as soon as I have time again, but for now good night and if possible leave this issue open so I can report all my findings here
But at this point I should maybe just create my own bulletboard where I record all my findings until I can eventually report all bugs to the appropiate mods in such a way that they are easy to fix and the mod devs don´t need to sift through thousands of log lines😅

I tried v.2.14.1, v.2.14.5 and v.2.14.6 and nothing changed = same error
And also the old version that we used before which was 2.9.3 = crash because of dependencies requiring newer version of moonlight (atleast 2.13.65) which I also tried but then it crashes with a different error because something didn´t work with moonlight with a different error. Here is the log: https://mclo.gs/zG7zv0c
This time it also generated a crashlog which is here: https://mclo.gs/yFlvafg

Thx for the quick answer :D

Have you tried Moonlight lib v2.14.5

the difference between 2.14.5 and 2.14.6 is quite negligible. v2.14.6 has one code updated. just RegEx stuff.

make sure ALL mods are updated
