As the title says, biomes that normally don't allow for rain by default have silent rain when the wet season is on. The rain is visibly there, but it makes no sound at all until I near a biome that can normally have rain. This includes vanilla biomes like deserts and modded biomes like the Xaric Shrublands from Biomes a' Plenty. This is with the 1.2.15 version.
