I've noticed that the vanilla Minecraft beach biome is experiencing foliage color changes. In an effort to prevent this I added the following entry to biome_info.json:

"minecraft:beach": { "enable_seasonal_coloring": false, "use_tropical_seasons": false },

However it does not work. It seems the config is being ignored completely since setting use_tropical_seasons to true does not appear to do anything either.

I haven't tried with any other biomes - But this has been an issue with the Beach biome for at least two releases now. Is the config just plain not working?

The proper name for Beach biomes in vanilla is "beaches"

Please check the Minecraft Wiki to make sure you're using the proper names for biomes.
