Can non-player entities such as an npc or machine bypass the season restrictions for planting?

I mean, the restrictions are solely done in the crop growth/bonemeal event. Some things like bees in vanilla don't use that when adding to the crop's growth level, meaning they can bypass it. So it really depends on if other mods use it or not.
