I think it would be cool to have more year round plants, and I nominate cabbage, because its a modded plant and it can be grown in the winter in real life (with challenges).

Why would this feature be useful?

It simplifies planning, and cabbage is a modded plant so its avoidable if you don't want a year round plant. It would be nice to have a year round food source that's not mushrooms.

This is up to whatever mod you're referring to. We don't control crop fertility for anything other than vanilla crops.
