Mod Conflict With Some Crop Mods

Specifically, I'm using rustic and roots, and with the latest version of serene seasons it is preventing them from growing in any hot or cold biomes (ie. deserts, savannas, jungles, or ice plains, snowy taiga, etc...), and going as far as to even prevent sapling growth, even when bone meal is applied for rustic trees. I've tried adding them to the list, but that doesn't work, and even when I told it in the config not to affect modded crops they still refuse to grow in those biomes (no matter the season). Not a big deal, just went back to a version before crop fertility, just letting you know what's up.
First of all, preventing sapling growth isn't a thing in newer versions of Serene Seasons. If you had used an older version, you should make sure to clear your configs and let them regenerate when switching to a newer version.
Second, tropical biomes (Desert, savanna, jungle, etc.) only allow for summer crops to grow (As they do not follow temperate seasons), and snowy biomes only allow winter crops to grow, regardless of the season. By default, any unlisted crops from other mods are classified as spring, summer, and autumn crops.
Rustic does some weird stuff with their crops, and they don't follow the implementations that crops from vanilla and other mods do, so compatibility with them isn't something we can fix. I told the author about it months ago, but I guess he never did anything with it.
I was not aware of that, sorry to bug you! That makes sense though, to only let crops of those types grow in those biomes. And I noticed that while snooping through rustic's code, and their saplings are implemented in at least a similar way to their crops, so it makes sense they would be the only saplings affected since their crops are. That makes sense then, thanks for humoring me!
