Suggestion: Fabric Port

I am hoping there is a time and way for this mod to be ported to Fabric 1.20.1 as well as that is all we need to complete our server :)
Thanks~
Unfortunately I don't really have much time to even add stuff to the mod right now, let alone focus on any porting, so any chances of a port aren't looking good as of now.
Though I have heard there exist ways to make Forge + Fabric mods run together, so maybe there might be a way to set that up? Who knows really

Well unlike the JSG guys, you seem at least interested in trying, so I'd ask: How much would I need to pay you to port it? At what point would it be worth it for you from a financial aspect to put money into this? Because unless it's ridiculous (the pay that is being asked for), I might as well just pay you for the job :)
Oh no, it's not really about money. I just don't have time because of university and there isn't really any way around that. Unless I want to get thrown out, I'll just have to dedicate time to it.

Absolutely understandable. Let me know whenever you have time and are interested then, and good luck ๐
Ever thought about using a multi-loader API like Architectury API to create a Fabric port?

I would suggest this as well actually. Unfortunately the other Stargate mod guys are so heavily against Fabric for some reason, that it's just sad...
Yeah so I am hoping that Povstalec would end up porting it for Fabric :)
For me it's just wishful thinking, considering I just found out the wonders of Sinytra Connector and Forgified Fabric API and I've started moving some of my Fabric mods to my (Neo)Forge(d) modpack.
No pressure if it takes a lot of work.

No pressure if it takes a lot of work.I used to be a Forge fanboy because of the many cool mods, but Fabric simply has the bar-none better optimization mods. Also, Immersive Portals, the Gravity mod, etc. Those mods are so much more interesting that I decided to swap to Fabric eventually, and I never looked back. Most mods come out for Fabric nowadays anyways, and mod devs not developing for Fabric are starting to become part of the "uncool" crowd (there are some that are flatout maniacal about doing Forge-only, really sad to see considering that there's the aforementioned Architectury API). So realistically, I see less and less of a reason to swap back to Forge, because most mods I want are on Fabric, have a Fabric equivalent or simply aren't as important as the mods that are on Fabric. So if this mod goes over to rewriting itself for the Architectury API and ends up being available on both, that's only a bonus in every conceivable way for everyone.
I'm also a Fabric guy, but I've cooled down my need to mostly go out and ask for Fabric support on a lot of mods. As much as Forge devs are, as you say, becoming part of the "uncool" crowd, there are still things Forge has that Fabric simply doesn't.
